I’ve been thinking about possibly maybe starting another shop at some point in the near future making soaps, lip gloss and wax melts/candles. I have always wanted to do this and just haven’t been able to yet.
If not soaps, then at least melts/candles and lip glosses.
I haven’t fully decided yet but I know this is something I would like to do. This being said, when I decide to take this on, I will be doing trial bags. This is when I’ll be asking for beta testers in which they will pay a set fee which will include shipping for their feedback, suggestions etc. This will NOT be done through Etsy. I repeat, my beta testing will NOT be done through Etsy.
My beta testers will be invoiced through Paypal and we will go from there.
Guys, I’m SO excited about this.
My shop has reached its little goal for my two year Etsyversary and we’ve still got two weeks to go!

It’s been a few weeks since I last posted, oops!
I’m in the process right this very minute, other than typing, of putting ten necklaces together…at once! Maybe I’m crazy but I prefer to refer to it as ambitious. I love working and what results from it. I love getting feedback and of course the sales don’t hurt.
I’m extremely excited about these new pieces especially since they’ve been in the works for some time now.
Anywho, I should get back to it so it doesn’t take yet another day to complete these.
I really must set some time aside for this blog.
Ahh, anywho. I am going on being up for nearly 30 hours straight! I am beyond exhausted and that’s being kind.
On another note, I got A LOT of pieces done last night! Eighteen little clay things that are absolutely scrumptious looking and I’m so proud of them. I worked from nearly 11:30 until after 8am hunched over my desk meticulously detailing all of these.
Maybe, just maybe I’ll get some sleep today. No? Yeah, didn’t think so.
Head over to the shop and check out all of these and other great items in there! Oh and Facebook to “like” the page and keep up with EVERYTHING!
I am back to staying up all night and running on little sleep during the day. Why?
Well, mostly my pain-in-the-behind everlasting bout of insomnia but last night I just wanted to get some things finished.
I made another satin brooch (seen pictured) for any special occasion. I personally love these and am definitely planning on making them in all different colors.
But before all of this, I was working on a custom order for a friend who happens to be an excellent photographer. She has a newbie session coming up next month and wanted some headbands for the baby girl. I am SO thrilled she asked me to do them and even more excited to see my headbands next month!
Please go and check her page out, show her some love by liking it and stick around to see more of her amazing work!

I must be off…to make more things when I should be cleaning.
There are many times throughout my jewelry making process that I am faced with such a difficult decision: Do I list this new item in the shop or keep it for myself?
Ahh, such a deep question to ask oneself when you are a jewelry maker.
Nine times out of ten, I just suck it up and list the piece so it can have new life in a new home which I thoroughly enjoy.
I so love making pieces for other people so they might enjoy them as much as I do and have. But sometimes….sometimes I just have to hold on to some things for myself. Hah!
Well, I better get back to it and FINALLY make this bracelet that I’ve been neglecting to make for quite some time now. Maybe it’ll be a necklace instead…..
Well, the upside to having stayed up all night is I got a lot done jewelry wise.
I have five brand new items in the shop as of today and many new items this past week alone.
If you’re new here or just haven’t taken the time to check out the shop, do so now! www.etsy.com/shop/sparksemporium
