I’ve been thinking about possibly maybe starting another shop at some point in the near future making soaps, lip gloss and wax melts/candles. I have always wanted to do this and just haven’t been able to yet.
If not soaps, then at least melts/candles and lip glosses.
I haven’t fully decided yet but I know this is something I would like to do. This being said, when I decide to take this on, I will be doing trial bags. This is when I’ll be asking for beta testers in which they will pay a set fee which will include shipping for their feedback, suggestions etc. This will NOT be done through Etsy. I repeat, my beta testing will NOT be done through Etsy.
My beta testers will be invoiced through Paypal and we will go from there.
Guys, I’m SO excited about this.
I am back to staying up all night and running on little sleep during the day. Why?
Well, mostly my pain-in-the-behind everlasting bout of insomnia but last night I just wanted to get some things finished.
I made another satin brooch (seen pictured) for any special occasion. I personally love these and am definitely planning on making them in all different colors.
But before all of this, I was working on a custom order for a friend who happens to be an excellent photographer. She has a newbie session coming up next month and wanted some headbands for the baby girl. I am SO thrilled she asked me to do them and even more excited to see my headbands next month!
Please go and check her page out, show her some love by liking it and stick around to see more of her amazing work!

I must be off…to make more things when I should be cleaning.
There are many times throughout my jewelry making process that I am faced with such a difficult decision: Do I list this new item in the shop or keep it for myself?
Ahh, such a deep question to ask oneself when you are a jewelry maker.
Nine times out of ten, I just suck it up and list the piece so it can have new life in a new home which I thoroughly enjoy.
I so love making pieces for other people so they might enjoy them as much as I do and have. But sometimes….sometimes I just have to hold on to some things for myself. Hah!
Well, I better get back to it and FINALLY make this bracelet that I’ve been neglecting to make for quite some time now. Maybe it’ll be a necklace instead…..
Well, the upside to having stayed up all night is I got a lot done jewelry wise.
I have five brand new items in the shop as of today and many new items this past week alone.
If you’re new here or just haven’t taken the time to check out the shop, do so now! www.etsy.com/shop/sparksemporium
Remember, sharing is caring!
Regardless of the Sleepytime tea I drank two hours ago, I am still awake.
I’m quite irritated at this because I’ve been in such a great pattern lately but alas, my insomnia is back.
What does this mean other than bags under the eyes and much needed coffee in the morning?
Being productive when it’s quiet and I have time!
So, I did this painting with one of my favorite quotes which I hope to get tattooed one day.
“And though she be little, she is fierce.”
Though in the written version there is now exclamation point and an extra comma.
It will go nicely on my wall…one of them, with everything else I’ve made.
I have always worked with glass vials and the flow of ideas for more is seemingly never ending.
This go around? Mermaids!
I’m so excited to put these together with some beads and crystals and to get them up in the shop.
On top of that, I have a REAL starfish pendant on top of real sand. I cannot WAIT to get these pieces done.
Other than that, I have finally finished with my deconstructing/reconstructing phase and unfortunately, I had to toss a lot of things.
Alas, I did get to salvage a lot of beads and some pendants and what not.
Overall, I’m happy with the outcome and the space I just freed up on my shelf.
Ahh, back to work I must go now.
All of the pieces I plan on working on right now are on my very beaten up desk.
Unfortunately, a lot of things just have to be throw away due to lame circumstances.
Oh well, I will make up for the losses elsewhere.
So far I’ve got ideas for brand new items from Harry otter to zombies and just elegant crystal pieces.
